Education in Delhi and the surrounding towns of Faridabad, Gaziabad, Noida & Gurgoan has seen a tremendous growth over the last few years with new colleges and research institutes being established in region. Leading institutions like Delhi School of Economics, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi University, Indian Institute of Technology, All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences, Indira Gandhi National Open University and Indian Institute of Mass Communication have now acquired international status. Students who have passed out of these institutes have excelled in the professional fields and become authorities on their subjects.
